Great Bar Menu Reviewed by coloradonj on

I had never heard of a "Bar Menu" that had more than calamari or nachos before until Aspen. Most restaurants have a Bar Menu that consists of soup, salads, fish, steak all for under $15-20. Our group of two couples had: frog legs, salmon, steak and beef risotto. The steak was the best she had ever had and my risotta was quite yummy. Paired with a glass or wine per couple, a soup shared, dessert and tax our bill only came to $80/couple! Great deal in Aspen!
The only downside is that it is first come first serve, but with 5 tables of 4 and 10 or so seats at the bar, the wait isn't too long.
Pros: Great value for Aspen
Cons: Might have to wait for a table since you can't make a reservation at the bar.
Overrated, Typical French Reviewed by defcon1 on

The "wierd foods" are usually the best thing on the menu while the traditional fare is usuallyover-salted. My favorite was sheep brains. The dining room is crowded and too noisy. No booster seats or high chairs or viable alternatives for children.
