***Recent addition---> I have my biggest adventure EVER coming up in 3 years....yup, I said 3 years. Its so big its gonna take that long to plan. My best friend, his lady, and me are going to take a WHOLE year off of our normal lives to sail around the world. Grew up in Texas. Finished high school. Moved to Colorado to go to college and snowboard. Really got into snowboarding. Finished college. Really, really, really got into snowboarding. Did that for a few seasons. Moved to New Zealand for 6 months so I could snowboard in the southern hemisphere. Back to Colorado for a few more seasons. Now I am back in Texas.

I like to look for the good in life and am always down to make people smile. I am really big into the great outdoors and could spend a month out in the forest with no problem. I like to travel, both abroad and here in the US. One of my goals is to make it to all 7 continents and all 50 states. I am mainly into snowboarding, downhill biking, wakeboarding, driving my car, and getting some sort of excercise, but you can catch me hunting, fishing, hiking, and surfing too. I have a beautiful working golden retriever. I am a Christian. I am here because I want to get past all the bologne and find someone who can keep up and who isnt afraid of life, or who isnt scared to let me go on my adventures at least. I like to stay fit and healthy. And now that I am not living in Colorado doing the hiking and snowboarding thing everyday, I had to join a gym for the first time. And I have been going regularly and I am really liking the spin class. Its a good time. I do the swimming thing too, although I am not to good at it. But I am getting better everyday.

I'm a 26 year old self employed hairstylist and bartender. I like to excersize outside and do yoga and surf. I was an avid snowboarder but a knee injury has ended my season. I also enjoy reading and plan on going to norway in april for a black metal festival. I love metal. I love to socially drink and i hate dancing in public and dance clubs. Im also taking guitar lessons and sewing classes because i love designing clothes. I plan on doing europe this august and maybe going back to costa rica to become a yoga teacher.

a year later I think I should update this.....

The last 6 months of my life have been kinda crazy. I quit my corporate job because it wasn't making me happy. Then I moved to an organic farm in Northern California for a few months just to try something different. Now I am living in the middle of the mountains in Central Colorado. I'm still planning on traveling and living in a few more places before I finally settle down, Ireland I think is next on my list.

I'm looking for the girl next door type of woman. Somebody that I can do everything from joke around with or go hiking and camping to just sitting around and talking.

I can't sit still and I love to be outside...no matter the weather! I'm easy going but can get heated about things I believe in. I have been told that I am bluntly honest, I just prefer to tell is as I see it rather than trying to backstep later...I guess I wouldn't make it as a politician.

I love building custom homes in the Colorado mountains...I am a bit of a workaholic oops :). I also love to hunt, fish and hike around observing nature, so the mountains are perfect for me.

I am very solitary when it comes to Religion and my wife says my beliefs seem to be along the Native American line. I have never really studied it, I just do what feels right to me.

Back "in the day": I was a bit of a nerd, graduated from Colorado School of Mines. I was one spot away from going to the State Highschool Wrestling tournament. I played several instruments...Cello, Clarinet, Tenor Saxiphone, Electric Bass and Bass drum (when I had a broken arm from Wrestling).

So, I really hate filling things out about myself. Who doesn't? I am originally from Indiana and moved out here in August 2007. I live in a small town and love it here. I enjoy being far enough away from the city but still being close enough to be able to go out and do something on the weekend.

I am the youngest of two. I have an older brother and a sister-in-law. They are expecting their first sometime in June. All of my grandparents are still living. I enjoy spending time with my family, but living 1300 miles away makes it difficult.

It takes me a while to be comfortable enough to open up to people. Even when I am in a group of people that I have known for quite some time, I tend to be reserved and spend my time listening to what they have to say. It is not that I do not feel that my opinions are not good enough to be voiced, or that I cannot back them up. It is more about figuring out what people think and comparing their thoughts/opinions to my own.

I really like to be indecisive. It is something that I enjoy. I know that sounds weird. Probably the thing that I most enjoy about it is putting people on the spot and making them decide especially when it is a decision about what to do or where to eat. I would much rather do something that I am uncomfortable with that my friend/partner wants to do.

i like golf, camping, hunting and fishing. He sits in his chair, creaking forward and back. The sun rises with a flicker through the yellow dying leaves. The smell of dew fills his nostrils as the smoke rises from his pipe obstructing the clear vision that time has taken. I have lived in colorado my whole life. Im currently working as a Firefighter/EMT and love my job. I go to school on the side working towards my degree Fire Science.
